LOAD TESTING INSPECTION PROCESSACCEPTANCE AND ISSUANCE OF OPERATION LICENSE

This is the last step to handover lift equipment that has been completed installation for use and management units. S.E.A CRANE will announce the time for inspection, acceptance and test of the gantry system for the investor. During the test loading test with the supervision of the Industrial Safety Inspection Center II (Ministry of Industry), to make a record of test load test and minutes of testing technical safety lifting equipment, handover completed works.

The load testing process consists of the following steps:

External inspection:

-       Inspect the entire crane, check for major welds, bolt joints, and track the running track of the cranes.

-       Check the lubricant.

-       Check the entire power system of the crane.

-       Carefully check the connection between safety stops at the two ends of the longitudinal journey.

-       Check all the switches that limit the travel of the crane.

-       Check and adjust the brake (if needed) on the steering wheel and crane.

-       Press the control buttons for the entire crane system to operate in idle state.

-       After the adjustment steps, no load operation, we conducted the crane load test in two cases.

Static load trial:

-       Prepare load at 125% load under regulation: 30 tons x 125% = 37.5 tons at the same time put the load in the empty area in the middle of the factory span and sufficiently prepare load chain.

-       Bring the gantry system to the load position.

-       Move the hoist to the middle of the main beam.

-       Apply the ruler to the center of the beams and use the analytical sights on the original calibration bench.

-       Lift 125% of the used load (25 tons) to an elevation of about 200mm above the ground in static condition for 10 minutes. Look at the astronomical machine to read the change data on the deflection test of the main beam. Then put load down and also use the theodolite to check for excess deformation. If the main beam is free of deformation and deflection in accordance with design calculations, the requirements and actual data at the load test shall be recorded in the Shaft Profile.

 

Dynamic load test:

-       Prepare load at 110% load under regulation: 30 tons x 110% = 33 tons.

-       Lift and lower the load in a minimum of three times to check the braking system of the lifting engine, if during the lift (downhill) stops suddenly but the load is not drifting, it is satisfactory.

-       Lift the load carrying hoist across and fall suddenly three times to check the braking system of the transverse moving machine simultaneously for the load carrying hoist 3 times to stop the horizontal trip to check the stability of the anti-horizontal joints.

-       For gantry system, the load carrying axle moves up and down three times to check the braking system of the longitudinal travel motor simultaneously for the load bearing gantry system to hit three times on the two stops. longitudinal journey to check the stability of the vertical linkages.

In a nutshell, this is a step-by-step inspection of all the components of the shaft spindle system, power supply system, pivot and runways. If the entire system is stable, quiet and free of signs of warping or deformation, then the requirements and eligibility for operating license to put the system into use.
